Terms of Service

1. The service

memecub (memecub.com) is operated by Cyber Koi Limited, a Hong Kong company (“we”). It offers a meme search website plus a REST API, an MCP server, a command-line tool and article placement for AI agents. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for all use under your account and keys. Keep keys secret and revoke a leaked key in the dashboard right away. Do not share or resell accounts or keys, or use several accounts to get around free limits.

3. Credits, plans and payment

The API, MCP, CLI and the website's AI placement are billed in credits; the pricing page lists what each call costs. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed.

Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until you cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then. Plan credits reset every billing month and do not roll over; credit-pack credits do not expire while the service runs.

Upgrades apply immediately: you pay the prorated difference and receive the difference in credits. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. We give at least 14 days' notice of price changes, effective from your next billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and may have local taxes added.

4. Refunds

Within 7 days of your first purchase, if you have used no more than 10% of the credits, you can get a full refund; see the Refund Policy (/refund). Otherwise payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires.

Calls that fail on our side are refunded in credits automatically. After a refund or chargeback the related credits are removed; your balance can go negative, and paid calls stop until it is positive again.

5. Images and copyright

You pay for search and placement, not for rights to any image. Memes collected from the web belong to their creators and suit chats and non-commercial posts. Only images marked “Commercial use OK” are openly licensed, under their license and with the credit line it requires.

You are responsible for how you use images. Rights holders can request removal through the DMCA page.

6. Acceptable use

Do not bulk-copy the library to build a competing service, get around rate limits, credits or security measures, upload unlawful or infringing content or other people's private data, or use the service to harass anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that do, without refund.

7. Changes and liability

We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Updates are posted on this page; we email you about material changes.
